Seema studied a Law degree before moving to London to study on the Legal Practice Course, with a view to obtaining a training contract in the City. Seema was not overly keen with the fast paced movements of city life, so she moved back to the good old North East to develop her career in more familiar surroundings.
She initially spent six months working at a criminal law firm in Middlesbrough and trained to become a Police Station Representative. She subsequently moved to a larger specialist employment firm in Newcastle, where she dealt with caseloads which involved a significant number of clients who pursued equal pay claims against the NHS and local authorities across the UK.
Upon closure of the firm, Seema moved across to SRF and commenced employment as an Assistant Solicitor. She was recently promoted to Associate at the firm.
“I am always keen to find a workable solution for the client, with a view to providing clear and concise advice along the way, taking into account of all the relevant factors affecting the case”
I live with my husband, and we are currently enjoying the trials and tribulations that come from our new baby boy! I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the cinemas, baking, eating out, going for long walks, running and playing badminton (when I can fit this in!).
