Elizabeth has grown up in the North East and obtained both of her degrees from Durham University.
Elizabeth is a Solicitor in our private client team with over 4 years’ post-qualification experience having joined the firm in November 2019.
Elizabeth advises on all aspects of private client work, such as Inheritance Tax Planning, Wills and Powers of Attorney, Estate and Trust Administration, Court of Protection matters and Probate Disputes.
"I absolutely love the work I do. I have a background in retail where I worked my way up to being a manager which means I am really passionate about providing clients an excellent service and I always aim to go the extra mile.
I am so fortunate in that being a private client lawyer means I am trusted with personal, sensitive information often at difficult times in people’s lives and I take great pride in getting to know clients and in providing solutions and the best possible advice based on their individual needs and circumstances. It’s so great to get to work with people from a variety of backgrounds and differing circumstances meaning myself and the rest of the private client team here really do get a great breadth of work. I love being asked questions and if I can’t find the answer, someone else in the firm will be able to help!”
I live with my husband and our son in Newcastle. I love the North East! My husband and I have lived together here in the same area for almost a decade and we’ll probably never move far as we love our neighbours!
We love to travel and we’re slightly shark-obsessed so we’ve been all over from The Great Barrier Reef to The Gulf of Mexico although my favourite places were various sites in The Red Sea as the visibility there is crystal clear! I run a book club, a local Mum’s group, I do pro bono work for Maggie’s Cancer Centre Charity and I am a member of the Business Beats Cancer (Newcastle) Board. I’m a basketball fan and as a previous Newcastle Eagles season ticket holder, I always wish I could get along to more games but having a toddler to entertain is just as fun!
