Claims Management Regulator

The Claims Management Regulator is a unit of the Ministry of Justice.

The Claims Management Regulator (CMR) currently regulate the companies that offer a service for people looking to claim compensation for reasons such as personal injury, mis-sold financial products and services, redundancy or criminal injury.

They have wide reaching enforcement powers undertaking regulatory & criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Our team are in regular contact and on first name terms with the current regulator and many members of his team, both in Burton-upon-Trent and London, allowing us to discuss the best way forward for you and resolve cases quickly.

From the 1st April 2019 the FCA will become the new regulator of claims management companies and the CMR will cease to exist.

The Regulatory Unit have launched a new compliance service, in collaboration with the Alliance of Claims Companies (ACC) - specifically designed for ACC Members seeking to progress through FCA authorisation and beyond.

This bespoke service is available at a discounted rate for ACC members – however other CMCs can still access the package.
