Paul Clark
Paul qualified as a Solicitor in October 2006 having gained his undergraduate degree at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and completed the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University.
Following a training contract undertaken at Clark Willis Solicitors during which he gained experience in criminal law, mental health law and family law, Paul joined Stefan Cross Solicitors and quickly became crucially involved in pursuing the firm’s equal pay claims, both in England and Scotland.
Paul joined Fox Cross Solicitors on the creation of the firm in January 2009 and played a leading role in helping establish the new firm among the foremost employment law firms in Edinburgh, whilst diversifying his experience beyond equal pay and discrimination claims to broader employment law issues.
In March 2010 Paul joined Burnetts Solicitors in Carlisle and became a valued member of the firm’s employment law department. The time Paul spent at Burnetts provided him with an opportunity to act for larger, respondent clients in both the public and private sectors.
A keen and able advocate, Paul has represented clients before numerous employment tribunals in England, and Scotland and has appeared before the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal (Scotland).
Paul would like to say:

Outside of work, Paul enjoys a wide range of sports, particularly cycling, tennis and cricket, in addition to cooking, reading history and Sunday countryside walks with his wife and their dog.
