Marilyn Armstrong
Marilyn joined Short Richardson & Forth in June 2005. She manages both the accounts and the day-to-day administration of the practice.
Marilyn is an Associate Member of the Institute of Legal Finance & Management and a Member of The Law Society’s Law Management Section.
With qualifications in both management and legal accounts she has built up vast experience during her long career in legal management, having worked in small and large law firms. The tools for doing the job have changed over the years, but the aim of providing the best quality service to the clients remains the same.
Helped the firm achieve the Law Society Lexcel Quality award and Investors In People.
Has responsibility for monitoring compliance and ensuring the firm maintains its high standards and retains these badges of quality.
Outside of Work
"Most weekends and holidays are spent with the family on the Yorkshire coast in our lovely caravan near Filey. There are some beautiful walks along the cliff tops and the beaches are great. My main love is reading and I always have a book on the go. I stopped buying books about 5 years ago and now support my local library. This is much more economic and prevents the house becoming totally cluttered with books."
