Lisa Berg

Lisa joined Short Richardson & Forth in February 2012 as the head of the Private Client Department.  She specialises in Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, Trust Administration, Inheritance Tax planning and asset protection.

Lisa will also support the litigation team in relation to probate or trust disputes.

Having qualified as a solicitor in 2002, Lisa has experience in all matters relating to private client work and is also happy to work with a client’s other advisors, such as accountants and financial advisors, to achieve the best possible outcome for the client.

Lisa is a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).  STEP is the leading worldwide professional body for practitioners in the fields of trusts, estates and related issues.

Lisa is also a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE). SFE is an independent, national organisation of lawyers, such as solicitors, barristers, and legal executives who provide specialist legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers.

When Lisa is not in the office she can usually be found in the Northumbrian countryside enjoying the fabulous scenery, looking after her little girl and riding horses.
